User Management

SFx Asset Management employs three roles to implement the control of user privileges, including Standard UserAsset Administrator, and Account Administrator. See User Privileges for details about the privileges of each role.

To use SFx Asset Management, you and your organization must have a user account. You can sign up now or contact the Hexagon Support Team. We will create a user account with the Account Administrator role for each new authorized organization.

After you sign in to SFx Asset Management as an Account Administrator, you can start to create and manage user accounts for your organization. The following section introduces how to perform the following user management tasks in SFx Asset Management.

Note

  • The new user’s email must be a valid email address, which will be used to receive various system notifications.

  • The SFx Role is not a required field. If not set up, the user will not be an account administrator by default. Certainly, you can also set a user as an account administrator if needed.

After the user account is successfully added, an email notification will be sent to urge the user to initialize a password. The link used for password initialization is valid in 24 hours. Once the link is expired, it cannot be used anymore.
