Solution Management

When you subscribed to two or more solutions from the Hexagon Smart Factory solutions, you can easily browse these solutions, change a user’s role in a solution, and assign users from one solution to another.

Note

Only Account Administrators have permission to perform solution management tasks in an organization.

The section below covers the following topics.

  1. Sign in to the SFx solution portal as an Account Administrator.

  2. Click on the image24.png icon at the top left corner of the Home page to open the My Solutions side pane.

  3. Select and click on the Account Settings item at the bottom.

  4. You'll find the Account Settings menu as follows. Then select and click Solutions.

  5. Click on the Assign User to Solution button to open a pop-up dialog.

    1. Select a targeted solution from the Solution dropdown list;

    2. Select a user email that you want to assign to another solution from the Email dropdown list;

    3. Select a solution role from the Solution Role list to set up a role for the user, and click Save.

  1. Sign in to the SFx solution portal as an Account Administrator.

  2. Click on the image24.png icon at the top left corner of the Home page to open the My Solutions side pane.

  3. Select and click on the Account Settings item at the bottom to enter into the main screen. Then select and click Solutions.

  4. Select a solution that the user belongs to from the solutions list, and click on the image25.png icon to expand all users in the solution.

    Tip

    You can also type the solution name in the search box to quickly find the solution.

  5. Click the image27.png icon aligned with the targeted user to open a pop-up dialog.

  6. Select a solution role from the dropdown list, and click Save.

Note

  • A user could own more than one role in a solution, in this case, the solution role with higher privileges shall prevail.

  • When changing a user role in a solution, only the Solution Role field is editable.
