2. Installing SFx Desktop

To install SFx Desktop (formerly known as SFx Connector) on the computer that is connected to your asset, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your SFx account.

  2. Next to your profile icon, click the user menu, and select the Downloads link.

  3. Under the SFxSetup.exe heading, click the download button (Download_icon_0804.PNG) to download the setup file for SFx Desktop.

  4. Locate SFxSetup.exe where you downloaded it. Then double-click SFxSetup.exe to start the installation.

  5. Follow any on-screen instructions to install the SFx Desktop application.

  6. After you install SFx Desktop, double-click the SFx icon (image12.png) in your system tray, located at the bottom right of your screen. This re-opens SFx Desktop.

Tip

You can also install SFx Desktop from the Universal Updater application.
