OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is a measure of the overall effectiveness of your equipment. It can be calculated for a single machine or a set of machines over various periods of time. It is expressed as a percentage—for example, “OEE = 75%.” It is calculated by the formula below, where each component in the expression is expressed as a percentage:

OEE = Availability X Performance X Quality
