Besides Card View and Table View, SFx Asset Management provides you with another view mode, Map View, to browse all assets including stationary assets and portable assets on the Asset Dashboard.

You need to link a GPS Tag to your portable assets such as a laser tracker, portable arm, or a Probe, to receive instant geo-location data of your asset. When your asset is being transported from one factory to another, its geo-location will be updated accordingly. See Linking/Unlinking a GPS Tag for details.

For a portable asset or a Probe that is linked to a valid GPS tag, it is presented in the Map View as a pin icon depending on its geo-location. If it also has the plant address associated, it will be shown as a plant icon as well. See Map View for details.
